I had to watch it even though normally i would ignore it and what a lame send off, the cast and crew obviously dodnt know at the time that they were making the last episode, a proper send off would have been much better. The Beeb should be ashamed of themselves for letting the worlds longest running sitcom die like this!

The daft thing is that i didnt bother much with it when it was on but now its gone i miss it!

I began watching this - it was never my most favourite sitcom, but it was always watchasble if there was nothing else on, and I respect how long it has been running. I agree - how lame!

I turned over after watching Russ Abbott stumble through a scene with a performance that was embarassing not just to him, but to the BBC. Maybe it picked up after I stopped watching, but I'm not going to watch it again to find out.

Very disappointing.
